It's Not a Resolution, It's a Way of Life.

Happy Monday family! It’s now December and we are officially counting down to the new year. I’m not one to have a list of resolutions for the new year, but I am very goal driven. I want all my dreams to come true and I understand that’s not necessarily going to happen all at one time (unless it’s 2017 and you’re Cardi B lol 😉), but goals keep you on track.


I’ve finally finished The Alchemist and I’ve been thinking a lot about my personal legend. I’m pretty sure I know what it is, but there are so many stops on the way to get there. Do you want to relieve stress? Get in shape? Control anger? Have clear skin? Learn a new language? Make more time for yourself? Take the time to write it out. The best way to reach a goal, for me at least, is to take the thoughts from my mind and put them onto paper. Visit it often and adjust if need be to fit where you are in life. 


Today I took some time out to map out my goals. I wrote out my goals and assigned daily tasks to get me there. I didn’t leave out time to reflect and rest and trust me I already feel the stress leaving my body. You may have noticed, but stress does not help you skin. Acne and eczema flare ups can happen simply because your body is in panic mode. Sometimes I get so mad that I literally start to itch and it drives me crazy! It goes from what I’m stressed or mad about to stressing about what I’m doing to my skin. Who has time for all of that?!
